Illinois School Insurance Network (DBA), operating under an amended trust agreement, legally known as Lincolnway Area Affiliation of Participating School Districts Employee Benefit Trust Fund, was established on May 1, 1977.

Currently there are 17 participating members. Each Member remains individually responsible for all benefit programs that are not a part of any Illinois School Insurance Network Plan.

The benefits to be provided by Illinois School Insurance Network shall include one or more (determined by the Trustees) of the following categories:

  1. Group Life insurance providing payment to the beneficiaries named by the insured member in the event of the member’s death.
  2. Group Accidental Death and Dismemberment insurance providing payments in the event of death or dismemberment.
  3. Group Major Medical, Dental, and Vision care.
  4. Group Employee Assistance Program
  5. Such other benefits as the Trustees elect.
